ABOUT
Residing in Australia, I was born in Sydney to immigrant parents from Hong Kong. I believe my future was always set to become an Industrial Designer, as I was always intrigued at how objects worked, and from a small age I was constantly drawing cars, drafting product plans and creating product’s both physically and digitally – design was what I enjoyed and what I always wanted to do.
In 2007 I graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Technology Sydney with first class honors. In addition to this, I expanded my skill set in 2020 by completing a Master’s degree in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability from Technische Universität Berlin. And now with more than 17 years of industry experience, multiple design awards and forming my own consultancy in 2010 (which has since evolved and expanded into Particle Design Studio), my focus has always been on developing elegant, highly detailed and functional products. I believe that having a sophisticated understanding of client and consumer objectives is the foundation of the design process, leading to the creation of well directed concepts that are critical in securing work and selling products.
In addition to my consulting work, I am passionate about design education and currently teach Product Design periodically at the University of Technology Sydney.
